Shipping and delivery FAQ

  • When will my order ship?
  • Orders usually ship within next 24 – 72 hours if all items in the order are available, If items are backordered, a follow-up email will be sent to you with further instruction. Keep in mind that the total time for delivery will depend upon many factors, including products selected, product availability, order processing time and selected shipping method.

  • Are there any shipping restrictions?
  • We cannot delivery to PO boxes. Orders/deliveries to select remote locations will need to be placed through Customer Support where shipping rate will be provided prior to order confirmation/completion. Deliveries can only be made to locations with a street address or rural route number with postal code.

  • How are online orders delivered?
  • Delivery is Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., local time. Standard shipping is the default shipping method for most items under 100 lbs and includes delivery by a small parcel carrier. Shipments that are over 100 lbs. will be delivered to the curb, or more typically the front door of the house or the ground floor lobby of an apartment or condominium building. Some geographic service restrictions apply. In certain remote locations, delivery will be made to the courier’s closest Pick-Up Centre from the shipment destination.

  • What are the shipping rates?
  • Shipping rates are determined by weight, size and destination. To determine the shipping rate for a specific product, add the item to cart and enter the delivery postal code in the Shipping Estimator tool. If you wish to change the quantity, please click on the Update Cart button prior to using the Shipping Estimator tool. Your shipping rates will depend on the item or items in your order. Below are some details to help you better understand our free or flat rate shipping options:

  • Do I have a free shipping option?
  • Yes. We have Free parcel shipping on most orders over $150
    Limited time offer valid for online qualifying purchases at www.canaweld.com only. Free parcel shipping is available on orders of qualifying products which total over $150 (excluding taxes). Qualifying products must be 75 lbs. or less, excluding oversized items and/or non-domestic shipments. Offer does not apply to the purchase of previous orders, in-store purchases. All qualifying purchases will be delivered by standard shipping and are subject to canaweld.com’s standard shipping restrictions. This offer is available within Canada only. Offer may be modified or cancelled at any time without notice.
  • How do I track my package?
  • You will receive a notification email once your item has shipped. The tracking number for your order will be available on your email. You can track your all shipment on carrier’s website or visit https://help.route.com

  • What should I do with package lost/stolen/damage package?
  • To help ensure your packages, Canaweld is strongly advise to protect all purchase with Route + at check out. By selecting Route+ at checkout your order will be protected from damage, loss*, or theft. In the unfortunate case that your order never comes or is broken upon arrival, Route’s customer support center can help you for file a claim with Route and receive a replacement or be fully reimbursed with just a click of a button.

    *All the claims for packages must marked as “delivered” or yet not received and where there is no evidence of “porch piracy” must be made 5 days after “delivery date” but no longer to pass than 15 days to ensure it was not misdelivered or easily found around the premises.” Claims for packages presumed to be lost (where the status is not “delivered”) must be filed after 7 days (20 days for international) and within 30 days from the last checkpoint.   • Title Risk of Loss/Damage during shipping?
  • For all product(s) purchased through the Canaweld Online Store, title and the risk of loss shall pass from Canaweld to the customer at the time the product(s) are given to the initial transportation carrier for delivery.
  • Can I cancel my order?
  • Yes. You can cancel your order online if it’s not yet in transit. Please contact our Customer Support at +1-416-548-5650 / Customer Support within next 24 hours of your orders for more help.

  • How to Return Items Purchased in Our Stores & Online?
  • Returns for items purchased through the Canaweld Online Store must be initiated by the buyer within 30 calendar days after receiving the product. Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging and include all accessories and instruction manuals.

    Prior to returning an item, you must obtain a Return Authorization number from Canaweld. Please contact us at 1-416-548-5650 to initiate a return. The Return Authorization number must be used on all correspondence and must be included on the return address label of the package when an item is returned. Items must be returned to Canaweld within fifteen (15) calendar days after the buyer receives the Return Authorization number.

    Canaweld will issue credit for properly returned items accompanied by a Return Material Authorization number obtained from customer service. Upon receipt, Canaweld will inspect returned items. Upon inspection, if the returned item is found to be not in new condition, or if components of the item are missing, the amount of the credit will be adjusted accordingly. Canaweld will issue credit through the method of original payment, after the item has been received and inspected.

    You are responsible for all shipping and related costs to return such item(s) to Canaweld. By selecting the “ship to home” option, You assume the responsibility and cost associated with returning item(s) to Canaweld, should it become necessary to initiate a return process.

    ENGINE DRIVES: Engine drive machines must be in new and unused condition to be returned. The engine drive is considered used and may not be returned if fuel has been added to the fuel tank. The battery must be disconnected for the engine drive to be returned. If the engine drive was picked up at a distributor, it must be returned to the same distributor. If You wish to return an engine drive machine, please contact +1-416-548-5650 to initiate the return process.
  • Governing Law, Jurisdiction and Our Agreement to Arbitrate.
  • The validity, construction and performance of these Terms of Sale, and the sale and use of products purchased through the Canaweld Online Store shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, excluding any conflict or choice of law provisions. No international sales are authorized or contemplated, and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall not be applicable to this Agreement or the purchase of products on the Canaweld Online Store.

You agree that venue and jurisdiction for all disputes will lie exclusively within in the Province of Ontario. You agree that any claim, dispute or controversy, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, regardless of kind or nature, between Yourself and Canaweld, its agents, employees, directors and affiliates, arising out of or relating to Your use of the Canaweld Onsite Store, any orders placed or transactions attempted or completed or products purchased through the Canaweld Online Store, shall be resolved exclusively and finally by binding arbitration under the commercial rules of the Canadian Arbitration Association then in effect before a single arbitrator knowledgeable in the field of internet contracts. Any award of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on each of the parties and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. Each party will pay its own costs and attorneys’ fees, if any, provided that Canaweld will be responsible for paying any filing fees or other fees required to obtain a hearing for the arbitration to the extent that such fees exceed the amount of the filing fee which would be required to initiate a claim in the court of general jurisdiction in the state where You reside. The arbitrator may award reasonable attorney’s fees to the prevailing party for any statutory claim that would allow the prevailing party to receive an award of attorneys’ fees.
